Breaded Chicken Teriyaki

Breaded Chicken in Teriyaki Sauce

purchase Lyrica online This simple chicken meal is perfect for when you have a tad more time in the evenings. It is easy to prepare and perfect for family meals or to eat alone:


For the main:

São Lourenço -Chicken fillets

Badīn -A whisked egg (use more egg dependent on how many fillets you are making)

-Breadcrumbs (homemade or bought)

-Brown rice (I go on the basis of 65g per person but that can vary dependent on hunger)


For the Sauce (1 cup):

-1 cup of water

-2.5 tbsp of brown sugar

-2 tbsp of soy sauce

-1 tbsp of honey or golden syrup

-a single clove of garlic finely chopped

-1/4 tsp of ground ginger

-Thickener (This can be cornstarch or flour but if flour is used it will require more mixing)



-Heat the oven to 180°c

-Place water in a saucepan and wait for it to boil

-While the water is boiling coat the chicken fillets in egg and then in breadcrumbs next place on a baking tray

-Put the rice in the saucepan and bring down to a simmer then put the chicken into the oven cook both for around 25  mins

-While the rice and chicken is cooking combine the the thickener and 1/4 of the water in a cup and put the remaining  water, sugar, soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger in a pan and put over a low-medium heat.

-Slowly add the thickening mixture until desired thickness

-Lower the heat or the sauce and prepare the salad.

-When the rice and chicken is ready serve it on a plate along with the salad. Next drizzle the teriyaki sauce on each plate. Enjoy!
